There are times people claim to be experienced and committed, but experience come from going through the mill yourself. There is a old saying: To make an omelet you have to break eggs.
Sometimes you have to do tough things in the process of a greater good.
When Jackie and Phillip decided to leave their home country, South Africa , in order to follow their dream of a better future for their family, it was not easy.
The couple had their own successful Real Estate Firm, called Happy Homes, in Johannesburg, South Africa. With interest rates at 24%, Jackie were among the top 10 stars selling Real Estate in Johannesburg. She is a graduate in Social Science from the University of Orange Free State in South Africa.
Leaving everything behind, traveling for nearly 5 days, part of it on a Greyhound bus from New York to Dallas, they landed softly in Texas on Memorial day, 1999. At their side were Inge, the couples oldest daughter, then 4 years old and Jet, their 4 month old baby boy and 8 travel-bags of belongings.
This is only part of her vast experience, giving her first hand knowledge of the family stress caused by relocation and buying a house.
Jackie was with RE/MAX in Dallas, TX from 1999 until August 2010, when she joined LONE STAR REALTY in East Texas. She stays focus on her bigger goals. One is to have only happy clients. She strongly believe in a personal, open & honest approach with lots of communication. All her phone numbers ring on her cell phone and you hardly have to deal with a voicemail.
She usually CHANGE houses into Happy Homes! Then sell them fast for the highest possible price that the market can offer. Her unique marketing approach & techniques bring out the utmost best in every home.
She also believes in staying ahead of the technology curve, and has networked office computers, her personal laptop computer, color laser printers, digital cameras, 3 web sites and utilizes special management software.
Phillip oversees the business operations. The Happy Homes Team also consist of a Transaction Coordinator, MLS - assistants and a Publishing Pro.
Furthermore, in 2006, Jackie completed an extensive STAGING COURSE . With this knowledge at hand, she stages her properties before marketing them. Effectively staged properties sells easily for 10-20% more than unstaged properties.
